In this project, my team’s mission is to re-design an outdated website of a small Ottawa-based business.

- The project took 6 weeks to complete with all the stages mapped out by the course
- The project focused on the design aspect of the website
- During the making, communication between team members and the (mock) client were also emphasized and practiced regularly
What I’ve learned
Experienced the different stages of the design process to produce the creative package for the client, including:

Managed multiple aspects of the project:

- Attended weekly meeting with clients

Main challenges
- Task distribution: because team members’ proficiency varies between different tools → some member tend to have more tasks than others
- Communication: one of the team member was often disconnected and unresponsive in the team’s communication channel (Basecamp/Campfire)
